Pipeline Integrity and Execution

As a key member of the Pipeline Integrity and Execution team at SoCalGas, we played a significant role in the Gas Pipeline Projects, a critical initiative aimed at ensuring the long-term safety, reliability, and efficiency of SoCalGas’s pipeline infrastructure. These projects were part of SoCalGas’s ongoing commitment to maintain and improve the integrity of its pipelines, addressing both current and future operational challenges. The assessment involved conducting detailed inspections of high-priority pipeline segments, utilizing advanced Inline Inspection (ILI) tools to detect potential risks such as corrosion, leaks, and structural weaknesses. As part of the project’s multi-stage Capital Delivery Model (CDM), the process was divided into initiation, design, procurement, construction, and final closeout phases, each meticulously planned and executed to meet safety and regulatory standards. Throughout the project, we were integral in managing the coordination of cross-functional teams, from project initiation and feasibility assessments to final commissioning and stakeholder communication, ensuring the project progressed smoothly while adhering to both timeline and budget constraints. Our expertise was crucial in navigating the complexities of integrating new technologies and strategies to enhance pipeline performance, ensuring that all project milestones were met efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
