About the Role

PADCOM Design & Construction Management Services is seeking a Senior Regional Construction Scheduler to support program-level scheduling and construction oversight across LAUSD facilities projects.

This role provides advanced scheduling expertise, supervises project schedulers, and supports program leadership with schedule reporting, analysis, and forecasting. The position plays a critical role in ensuring schedule integrity, identifying risks, and maintaining alignment across multiple construction projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Report to senior leadership and provide schedule-related reports to support key program milestones.

  • Assist in supervising Project Schedulers and coordinating with OARs, Senior Project Managers, and field staff.

  • Interpret construction drawings across all disciplines to understand project scope.

  • Review contractor baseline schedules in Primavera P6 and identify missing scope, logic, milestones, and critical path activities.

  • Analyze contractor monthly schedule updates and document delays, slippage, and impacts.

  • Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using accepted scheduling methodologies.

  • Review contract documents to evaluate entitlement to time extensions.

  • Communicate schedule issues and progress updates during project meetings.

  • Develop, maintain, and update program and master schedules including logic, milestones, and constraints.

  • Perform regular status updates for program schedules.

  • Ensure proper use of scheduling standards, codes, and reporting structures.

  • Prepare reports and analysis for senior management.

  • Conduct site visits to verify construction progress and schedule alignment.


Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
    OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with additional experience in construction scheduling

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in construction scheduling

  • Experience working for an owner, consultant, or general contractor

  • Experience on public works or educational facility projects preferred


Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version)

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong understanding of cost engineering, scheduling principles, and schedule forensics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities

  • Ability to lead and coordinate scheduling teams

  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
