About the Role

PADCOM Design & Construction Management Services is seeking an Associate Scheduler to support construction scheduling activities across LAUSD facilities projects.

This role focuses on reviewing contractor schedules, performing schedule analysis, and supporting project teams with schedule reporting and data integrity. The Associate Scheduler works closely with project managers and senior schedulers to ensure schedules align with contract requirements and program standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review contractor baseline schedules in Primavera P6 and identify missing scope, logic, milestones, and critical path activities.

  • Analyze contractor monthly schedule updates and document delays, slippage, and overall schedule performance.

  • Create schedule filters, layouts, and bar charts using Primavera P6 to support project analysis.

  • Perform QA/QC reviews of contractor schedule submittals for compliance with contract requirements.

  • Validate program schedules and logic ties to ensure adherence to scheduling standards.

  • Ensure proper use of program-level codes, layouts, and reporting structures.

  • Develop Earned Value Analysis (EVA) curves based on program guidelines.

  • Prepare reports and support scheduling management with project tracking and reporting.


Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in construction scheduling

  • Experience working for an owner, consultant, or general contractor

  • Experience on educational facilities or public works projects preferred


Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version)

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders


Work Conditions & Requirements

  • Onsite position supporting active construction projects

  • May require coordination with multiple project teams and departments
