About the Role

PADCOM Design & Construction Management Services is seeking a Junior Scheduler to support construction scheduling efforts across LAUSD facilities projects.

This role works under the guidance of senior scheduling staff to review contractor schedules, perform schedule analysis, and support program-level reporting. The position plays a key role in maintaining schedule integrity and ensuring alignment with project timelines and program requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review contractor baseline schedules and monthly updates and provide comments in accordance with District standards.

  • Assist with development and maintenance of schedule-related reports using Excel and Primavera P6.

  • Create Earned Value Analysis (EVA) curves based on program guidelines.

  • Perform QA/QC reviews of contractor schedule submittals for compliance with contract requirements.

  • Analyze schedules for proper coding, structure, and data integrity.

  • Perform QA/QC on program-level schedules and validate logic ties and sequencing.

  • Update master program schedules with as-built and forecasted dates in coordination with project teams.


Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in construction scheduling for an owner, consultant, or general contractor

  • Experience on public works or educational facility projects preferred


Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version)

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders


Work Conditions & Requirements

  • Onsite position supporting active school construction projects

  • May require coordination with multiple project teams and departments
