Job Title: Logistics Coordinator II
Job Duration: Full-Time/40 Hours a week
Position Description Summary:
Position will support the CALM (Coordination and Logistics Management) team at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). The position will be responsible for gathering program-level data and preparing mapping and PowerPoint presentations. The duties include assisting in the management of the CALM Geodatabase and the ESRI-based SharePoint GIS website, incorporating all logistical information for CIP and Tenant Programs.
Essential Job Duties:
Manage schedule changes and project boundary information for construction projects in the Central Terminal Area, Landside and Airfield
Conduct GIS data conversion and maintenance
Complete regular map deliverables: CTA, Airside/Landside, Traffic & Operations, Terminal Gates Matrix/Maps and Aircraft Parking positions, Laydown Coordination, and Integrated Program Lookahead Maps
Support data updates for program-level construction projects
Update data for Master Coordination Schedule, CALM Dashboard and Histogram
Maintain Logistical Matrix for all future projects
Support preparation and data collection for meeting summaries, presentations, and reports for high-level program meetings
Manages various planning and development initiatives
Maintain all project-related data with the focus of minimizing construction-related impacts and conflicts within the program
Assist in the maintenance of the CALM SharePoint GIS/ArcGIS Server web portal and application to display, view, and print maps and schedules
Maintain and update boundary information, schedule data and construction closures within a complex CALM geodatabase
Conduct space-time analysis for all terminal and roadway construction projects to verify work schedule and location in order to alleviate conflicts in the field
Integrate LAWA systems into CALM geodatabase and other ESRI-based products
Maintain GIS data standards/templates for LAWA-submittal guidelines
Hardware/Software Knowledge:
Proficiency with MS Office Suite software (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience using ESRI’s ArcGIS software products
Experience using AutoCAD and converting data from CAD to GIS databases
Experience working with Enterprise level geospatial data
Professional Experience:
Capable of adapting to various work environments based on the priority of that particular moment
Work well under pressure, think critically, and adapt well in various working environments
Effective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex, technical issues to a non-technical audience
Works well both independently and in a team environment
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
